Vijay along with the Jilla team met his fans and the press today to celebrate the success of Neason directed Jilla starring himself, Mohanlal and Kajal Agarwal in the lead with Mahat playing his younger brother and Soori providing the comic relief. The star actor talking at the meet called it a thanksgiving meet rather than a success meet.
Thanking his fans for supporting the film, actor Vijay said "Big thanks to my all fans for grand opening. I saw the video of my fans watching & celebrating Jilla 4 am show." He also wished Ajith's Veeram team saying that he had heardVeeram too is a success and said it is good for the industry. Wish also had words of praise for both Mahat and Soori and said it was a pleasure working with them.
The first 3 days gross collections of Jilla was extra-ordinary and it has collected 1.5 crores in the city alone which is much greater than Vijay's biggest hit Thuppakki.
